How are Self deciding sliding scale works... Our sliding scale fee is based on a system of honesty. Never will you be asked to show proof you are in need. Just let us know the price you have selected that works for your family. If the price you have selected is landing on the lower side( $1000). Then you are covering expenses and allowing your community to help you. If you are landing in the middle then you are covering expenses and your doulas time. If you are able to commit to a higher amount then you are helping keep this sliding scale plan going and supporting those in need. Thank you.

Consider paying more if... - You own your home - You are able to go on vacation - You are able afford more then lifes basic nessasitys - You have a support system that might be willing to chip in - You are above the poverty line - You have a job that providers benifits - You are able to put money in savings or towards investments.
